handheld nozzle The With adjustable stream, straight-through composite handheld nozzle is available in two sizes, DN25 and DN40, to match the ’s flow rate to the diameter of the supply line and the requirements of the job.
The DN25 version delivers up to 83 L/min, while the DN40 version delivers up to 284 L/min. In both cases, the nozzle allows the spray pattern to be adjusted between a fan spray and a straight spray.
Two diameters and two flow rates
The choice between DN25 and DN40 depends primarily on the flow rate available in the system and the desired level of performance.

Diffused spray or straight spray depending on the application
The " handheld nozzle " allows the user to change the spray pattern from a diffused spray to a straight spray.
The fan spray distributes water over a wider area, while the straight spray concentrates the flow to maximize range and accuracy. This allows the user to adapt the spray pattern to on-site conditions.
DN25 version: flow rate up to 83 L/min
The DN25 / 1" version delivers up to 83 L/min, or approximately 22 US GPM. Its moderate flow rate is suitable for small-diameter lines and configurations where water availability, space constraints, or consumption must be kept under control.
Its compact design makes it particularly suitable for integration into response equipment that uses small-diameter hoses.
DN40 version: up to 284 L/min for a higher flow rate
The DN40 version, corresponding to the manufacturer’s 1½" / 38 mm inlet size, achieves a maximum rated flow rate of 284 L/min, or approximately 75 US GPM.
It is designed for lines requiring a flow rate significantly higher than that of the DN25 model, while maintaining the same adjustment mechanism between a spray pattern and a straight jet.

handheld nozzle s supplied without a fire hose coupling
Both versions are available without a fire hose coupling. This configuration allows you to select the coupling for the fire hose and the connection standard used in the system separately.
It is also useful for replacing an existing fire handheld nozzle while retaining the type of connection already used on the equipment.
DN25 or DN40: Which Version Should You Choose?
The DN25 version offers a moderate flow rate of up to 83 L/min and is designed for small-diameter lines. It is suitable when water consumption and space requirements must be kept to a minimum.
The DN40 version provides a flow rate of up to 284 L/min and is suitable for installations with a higher water supply capacity. The choice should therefore be based on the pipe diameter, the available flow rate, and operational requirements.
