Description

handheld nozzle The Scotty Twist-Off 57–190 L/min With adjustable stream combines ease of use, a compact design, and versatility. Its rotating head allows you to gradually adjust the spray pattern from a wide, fine-mist spray to a straight stream with greater range.

Designed for applications requiring a lightweight, quickly adjustable fire extinguisher, it is suitable for use with water as well as with compatible foaming agents or fire- handheld nozzle gels.

Two versions available depending on the desired connection

The handheld nozzle is available in two configurations to fit directly into the user’s system.

Configuration Without connection With connection
Handheld nozzle Scotty Twist-Off Yes Yes
DSP/APM DN40 fitting without lock - Included
Usage For installation on a compatible connection Ready for connection to DSP/APM DN40 equipment

Adjusts from a diffused spray to a straight spray with a simple rotation

Adjustment is made directly by rotating the handheld nozzle head. In the spray position, it produces a wide mist consisting of fine droplets. As you continue rotating, the spray gradually narrows until a straight stream is achieved.

The handheld nozzle also features the Twist-Off function: by continuing to rotate past the straight-stream position, the user closes the handheld nozzle. This combines spray adjustment and flow shut-off into a single control.

A fine spray pattern to cover a wider area

In spray mode, the handheld nozzle generates a wide mist composed of fine droplets. The operator can gradually adjust the spray pattern to suit the situation without changing the handheld nozzle r adding accessories.

This continuous adjustment allows for rapid adaptation of the spray pattern between wide coverage and a much more concentrated stream.

A straight jet for greater range

In the straight-jet position, the handheld nozzle concentrates the flow to achieve greater range. Scotty claims a range of up to 80 ft at 100 PSI in this configuration.

This versatility allows the same handheld nozzle to be used for different phases of an operation by directly adjusting the spray pattern.

A lightweight and easy-to-use handheld nozzle

Scotty designed this handheld nozzle around a particularly simple mechanism: no additional handle or control is needed to adjust the spray pattern or stop the flow. The twist-to-operate design helps keep the unit compact, lightweight, and easy to handle.

The manufacturer also markets it as a durable, low-maintenance handheld nozzle.

Compatible with foam and gel applications

The handheld nozzle can be used not only with water but also with foaming agents or extinguishing gels. It can therefore be integrated into various response configurations depending on the agent used and the upstream equipment.

With or without a DN40 DSP/APM connection

The version without a coupling allows the handheld nozzle to be integrated into a system that already has its own compatible connection.

The second version is equipped directly with a DSP/APM DN40 coupling without a lock. It is particularly well-suited for users who want a unit that is ready to connect to their hoses or equipment compatible with this standard.
