Description

Professionals who regularly work or travel by vehicle may find themselves far from a repair shop, a depot, or a first-aid station when an incident occurs.

The Vehicle First Aid Kit for 2 to 4 People combines, in a portable format, the supplies needed to treat common minor injuries: cuts, superficial wounds, blows, or foreign objects in the eye. It also contains a survival blanket and a single-use chemical breathalyzer, designed for use inside a vehicle.

Two cases are available, both containing the same first-aid supplies: a fluorescent yellow polyurethane version and a blue waterproof fabric version.

Two sizes to suit the available space in the vehicle

The fluorescent yellow polyurethane (PU) version prioritizes visibility. Its bright color and retro-reflective cross make it easy to quickly spot the kit among other items being transported. It features a handle, a seatbelt clip, and several interior pockets.

The blue waterproof fabric version is significantly more compact: 140 × 110 × 45 mm and weighing just 260 g. Flexible and easy to handle, it also features a handle and seatbelt clips. Its interior is organized into four compartments with elastic straps to hold items in place.

Everything you need for minor injuries while on the go

The kit contains various sizes of bandages as well as sterile compresses to treat minor cuts and wounds that may occur during an intervention, loading operation, or procedure performed away from the usual work site.

Chlorhexidine cleansing pads, bandages, adhesive tape, scissors, and a splinter remover round out this kit, providing all the essential supplies and tools in a single container.

Bruises and eye injuries are also covered

Two calendula compresses are included for minor bumps. A single-use packet of sterile saline solution is also included to provide a rinsing solution in case dust or a small foreign object gets into the eye.

The emergency blanket rounds out the kit for situations requiring temporary thermal protection.

A breathalyzer included in the vehicle kit

The kit also includes one single-use chemical breathalyzer. This item is specific to the kit’s automotive use and complements standard first-aid supplies.

Of course, its inclusion in the kit does not exempt users from complying with traffic safety rules or the procedures established by the company for business travel.

Polyurethane or fabric: which is better?

The fluorescent yellow polyurethane version is a good choice when the visibility of first-aid supplies is a priority. Its larger size also makes it easier to organize and access the various supplies.

The blue fabric version prioritizes a compact size. Measuring just 140 × 110 × 45 mm, it can be stored more easily in a vehicle with limited space while containing exactly the same first-aid supplies.

Check the first-aid kit kept in the vehicle

A kit left in a vehicle may be subject to temperature fluctuations and may be used without being immediately restocked. It is therefore recommended to check its contents regularly and replace any supplies that have been used, damaged, or expired.
