Fire Shield, 120 L/min

The 120 L/min Water Curtain Fire Shield Kit is a temporary fire protection solution designed to create a water screen between an exposed area and a residence, building, outbuilding, or sensitive area. Powered by a motor pump or a compatible water line, it disperses water in the form of a curtain to wet the surrounding area and help limit exposure to thermal radiation.

This kit is particularly well-suited for preventive or emergency protection needs at the forest-habitat interface, on isolated properties, farms, industrial sites, storage areas, or temporary installations. It does not replace regulatory firefighting measures or the intervention of emergency services, but serves as a complementary protection and humidification system.

Two models available: with or without a hose

The Fire Shield Kit is available in two models to accommodate the equipment already available on-site.

• Version without a hose: includes connectors, couplings, and the 120 L/min water curtain, without a supply hose.
• Version with hose: includes the same components, plus a 10-meter DN45 Forex hose with DSP/APM fittings.

The connectors and couplings are therefore included in both versions. The only difference is the addition of the 10-meter DN45 hose in the complete version.

How the Kit Works

The kit is designed to be connected to a pressurized water supply, typically provided by a compatible motor pump. The 120 L/min water curtain disperses water in the form of a screen to create a protective wet zone between the fire hazard and the area to be protected.

The female-to-female connectors, the DN40 DSP/APM couplings, and the 3-way connector allow the assembly to be adapted to a compatible system. In the hose version, the 10-meter Forex DN45 hose with DSP/APM fittings provides a supply length directly suited to deploying the water curtain.
