Handheld nozzle AWG Turbo Strike Multi-Flow 50 to 150 L/min

The AWG Turbo Strike 150 HP multi-flowhandheld nozzle is a compact hollow-jet handheld nozzle designed for rapid-attack systems. It offers 3 adjustable flow rates: 50 / 100 / 150 L/min at 6 bar, as well as a purge setting to drain the system, and allows for a smooth transition from a straight jet to a spray pattern up to 120°. Its swivel inlet, ergonomic handle, and construction of anodized aluminum and polyamide make it easy to handle. It is available in two configurations with identical performance specifications: handheld nozzle (sold separately without a fitting) or handheld nozzle (sold with a fitting).

Description

The AWG Turbo Strike 230 HPhandheld nozzle With adjustable stream is designed for operations requiring a compact, maneuverable, and versatile handheld nozzle —one capable of quickly adjusting the flow rate and spray pattern to suit the conditions encountered.

It features three flow settings: 50, 100, and 150 L/min at 6 bar, along with a flush setting, and allows for gradual adjustment of the spray pattern, ranging from a straight stream for greater range to a wide, diffused spray.

The handheld nozzle is available in two configurations: a version without a coupling and a version that includes the exact same handheld nozzle, delivered with its coupling. The hydraulic characteristics and performance are therefore identical in both cases.

Two configurations: with or without a fitting

The choice between the two models depends solely on the desired connection to the system. The handheld nozzle itself remains unchanged: same design, same flow rate settings, same spray pattern, and same performance.

4 adjustable flow rates up to 230 L/min

The Turbo Strike 230 HP allows you to directly select four flow rates at a reference pressure of 6 bar:

  • 50 L/min;
  • 100 L/min;
  • 150 L/min;
  • 230 L/min.

This selection allows you to adjust the water flow rate to the needs of the operation, the available water supply, and the progress of the firefighting effort.

From a straight stream to a fan spray up to 120°

handheld nozzle ’s nozzle head allows the spray pattern to be gradually adjusted between 0 and 120°. This enables the user to switch from a concentrated straight stream to a much wider spray pattern without changing equipment.

The Turbo Strike system combines a turbo impeller with a spray pattern designed to achieve uniform water distribution, even when the selected flow rate varies.

Spray Range

Depending on the setting used, the spray ranges specified for this handheld nozzle are between:

Spray type Range
Straight jet 18 to 30 m
Wide-angle attack spray 7 to 15 m

The range varies depending on the selected flow rate, available pressure, and spray pattern.

handheld nozzle s designed for quick-connect fittings

The Turbo Strike HP was developed for quick-connect couplings and semi-rigid hoses. Its design aims to maintain an appropriate balance between flow rate and pressure drop in the hose.

Its maximum flow rate of 150 L/min provides significant hydraulic capacity while still allowing for several intermediate settings when the situation requires limiting water consumption.

A compact and robust design

The handheld nozzle combines an anodized aluminum body with polyamide components. This combination results in a corrosion-resistant unit while keeping the weight low to facilitate handling during operations.

The swivel inlet also helps reduce the stress placed on the hose by the operator’s movements.

Diffused spray: coverage and operator protection

By gradually opening the spray, the operator can achieve a spray pattern up to 120°. This configuration increases the coverage area and provides greater water atomization.

The Turbo Strike nozzle is designed to maintain even spray distribution across a wide range of spray angles.

Direct stream: prioritizing range

When greater range is required, the handheld nozzle can be set to a straight jet. The concentrated flow allows the nozzle to reach a more distant area while maintaining the flow rate selected by the operator.

The reported ranges for this configuration can reach up to 30 m with a straight jet.

Choose the version with or without a connector

The version without a coupling is suitable when the user wishes to retain their own connection system or when the installation already has the necessary coupling.

The version with a coupling is exactly the same Turbo Strike 230 HP but comes complete with the coupling designed for connection to a hose or fire suppression system.

There is no difference in flow rate, range, or operation between the two versions: only the inclusion of the coupling differs.
