Description

Roll & Foam 4045A-30 Mobile Foam Attack System

The Roll & Foam 4045A-30 Mobile Foam Attack System is a self-contained, transportable unit designed to convert a pressurized fire hose line, a water distribution line, or a water main into a mobile foam generation and delivery station.

Compact and wheeled, this system provides a rapid means of foam attack near the hazard. The unit can be set up and begin discharging foam in less than a minute, making it a particularly well-suited solution for industrial environments, warehouses, storage facilities, mines, ports, marinas, and aircraft hangars.

A mobile unit for quickly establishing a foam attack line

The Roll & Foam system utilizes an existing pressurized water supply to deploy a mobile foam firefighting solution. The system integrates the foam concentrate tank, hose, and all necessary equipment for foam production and discharge into a single unit.

This design makes it easy to position the equipment close to the incident site and provides a self-contained system without the need for a dedicated, fixed foam-generation facility.

Class A Foam Configuration

In its Class A foam configuration, the system includes a Scotty foam ejector rated at 125 liters per minute and set to 1%, as well as a 125-liter-per-minute foam-handheld nozzle t equipped with a pistol-grip shut-off valve.

The supply tank must be filled with the appropriate foam concentrate before the system is deployed. Once connected to a pressurized water supply, the unit meters the foam concentrate and discharges the foam solution.

Configurable for Class B foam

The Roll & Foam 4045A-30 can also be configured for Class B foam. This capability allows the system to be adapted to operational needs and the nature of the risk being protected.

For this application, the documentation specifies a 130 l/min air-inductive foam nozzle with a pistol-grip shut-off.

53-liter mobile foam concentrate tank

The system is equipped with a wheeled supply tank with a capacity of 14 gallons. Its mobile design makes it easy to move and position near the water supply and the response area.

The unit weighs approximately 10 kg when empty and measures 86.36 × 48.26 × 39.37 cm (H × W × D), offering an attractive balance between foam capacity, mobility, and compact size.

Integrated 15-meter fire hose

The Roll & Foam is equipped with a 15-meter flat hose. This length allows the operator to keep the mobile unit close to its water supply while maintaining an appropriate working distance to deploy the foam- handheld nozzle.
