Akron Brass Conquest 3671 - Firefighting monitor industrial 2000 GPM (7600 L/min)
The Conquest™ 3671 from Akron Brass is an FM-certified bronze double-wheel industrial fire monitor. Designed to protect high-risk sites (refineries, chemical plants, oil depots...), it delivers a massive flow of up to 7600 L/min (2000 GPM) at 14 bar. Its integral 4" (100 mm) water passage offers low pressure drop, ensuring a powerful jet to effectively attack large-scale fires.
Key features of the Conquest 3671
- Dual handwheel: precise manual orientation on 2 axes. The lower handwheel controls horizontal rotation(360° pivot) and the upper handwheel vertical elevation. This dual-flywheel system enables precise targeting, while keeping the operator at a safe distance.
- Robust bronze construction: monitor 's solid bronze alloy body offers exceptional resistance to corrosion, heat and wear. Suitable for intensive use in industrial environments, it offers extended service life even with corrosive agents (seawater, foams).
- High flow with low friction: 4″ (100 mm) internal duct with no constriction and integrated guide fins. Result: a full, powerful jet of up to 7600 L/min with minimal pressure drops, for maximum reach and increased efficiency.
- Wide range of coverage: 360° continuous horizontal rotation and vertical inclination from -45° to +85°. The monitor covers the entire area to be protected, and can spray both at the base of its support and upwards (up to vertical). Ideal for hydrocarbon fires, it can create a 360° water curtain around a tank.
- FM & safety certification: Factory Mutual approved for use in high-risk environments. Designed for fire-fighting water and foam (rinsing recommended after foam use). Gradual watering recommended to avoid water hammer and preserve system integrity.

Preferred industrial applications
Large-scale fires on petrochemical sites: the firefighting monitor Conquest 3671 excels at protecting refineries, oil platforms, fuel depots and chemical plants. Installed at the top of buildings or on fire dykes, it can quickly drown a flaming retention basin or cool down exposed storage tanks. Its long-range jet can also reduce flammable vapor clouds in the event of a leak, by projecting a protective curtain of water.
360° peripheral site protection: thanks to its integral rotation, a single monitor can cover a vast circular area. Its judicious positioning (minimum blind spot) ensures continuous peripheral fire protection. For example, around an industrial reactor or a sensitive production unit, the Conquest 3671 can be instantly directed towards any detected hot spot.
High-risk storage sites and warehouses: in warehouses for flammable liquids, recycling centers or Seveso facilities, this monitor monitor serves as an initial assault device in the event of an incident. Activated in the first few minutes, it contains the spread of fire until the fire department arrives. Its certified reliability ensures that, after many months on standby, it will work the first time in an emergency.
Compatibility and accessories
The Conquest 3671 is supplied without a head. It must be fitted with a suitable head to operate. The 3½″ NH female outlet on monitor allows all Master Stream heads with the same thread to be fitted:
- Examples of compatible heads: Rampage 4461 head (jet preset at 2800 L/min, adjustable to 1900, 3800 or 4800 L/min) for water or foam use or AquaStream 4450 head (1900 L/min), compatible with foam tube AkroMatic 1250-737; AkroFoam 4470 head incorporating a foam suction tube for high-flow physical foam projection. Other fixed or preset-flow head options are also available.
- Installation: the Conquest's 4″ (8-hole) anchoring flange fits onto your pre-existing manifolds or pipes. Provide a sufficiently rigid base to support its 84 kg and resist jet reaction.
- Safety instructions: do not install a shut-off valve immediately at the outlet of the monitor (risk of overpressure) - the valve must be upstream on the supply line. When using foam, avoid adding a high-expansion foam tube without the advice of our MMF specialists, to avoid disrupting the flow.
