Mercury FlowGuard is designed to optimize firefighters' safety in the field by limiting the risk of monitor overturning and dangerous jolts caused by water pressure.

• Automatic flow reduction: When excessive movement is detected, the FlowGuard reduces the water flow to around a third of the initial flow, helping to protect the fire-fighting team and the pump from overpressure and water hammer.
• Fast return to service: After activation, the system can be easily reset by closing the valve on monitor, turning the reset knob a quarter-turn, repositioning the hose, then reopening the valve to resume normal water flow.
• Minimum pressure drop: The FlowGuard has a pressure drop of 8 psi (0.55 bar) at a maximum flow rate of 1900 LPM, ensuring optimum hydraulic efficiency without compromising monitor performance.
